I had the pleasure of photographing Razi Wineries a few weeks ago. Razi is a small winery located in the Napa Valley. I was given a half day to photograph the vineyards and the tasting room. This is a great example of a micro budget advertising shoot. I did not have any assistants and only a few hours in which to shoot mostly with natural lighting and small battery strobes. I wanted bright, colorful and fresh images so I used the natural light and opened my primes up wide to get some dramatic shallow focus in the bright vineyards.
